Cultures begin to diminish when the tenets of self-respect and community values begin to get disintegrate with aesthetic carelessness and selfish intentions. Sure, it’s more comfortable to wear pajamas in public instead of proper attire — but that doesn’t make it right. If you don’t respect yourself, at least respect the rest of us who know better and how to properly dress. We don’t want to see your bad taste in nightwear roaming around the streets, and slippers are meant to be left at home. Let's get one thing straight. You cannot constantly laugh behind people's backs and snicker, treat them like ignorant, stupid ass fools who are clueless and get away with it for long. People tend to get mad and angry when they believe they are being ridiculed, mocked, belittled and scorned.

People tend get outraged that there is another group of people laughing and ridiculing them like they are stupid, ignorant, uneducated, and unworldly to the ways of this American world. Historically American have always treated "the rest of the world and their own people at times" like they are all clueless. There is a little hard wired thinking gene inside the American brain that has been saying for years years and decades, to the rest of the world collectively:

"I'm Number One, and you're not, whoever you are, where-ever you come from, you are clueless and you have no idea of what you're doing"........This has all changed now and somebody forgot to tell the Americans.

Although Thomas Friedman has written a book titled: THAT USED TO BE US.... How America Fell Behind In The World It Invented. and he insists on claiming we now must use the catch all phrase, "IMAGINED IN AMERICA" (see recent Mayors Conference for Friedman reference quote) as a country wide slogan for greatness and American exceptionalism, everybody can see the old haggard old man and what the US has become. If That Used To Be Us is the name of the book, then the book is a metaphor about a man looking back on his young life and the things he used to do and the things he cannot do now because his body is decrepit and his infrastructure is breaking down. The old man looks back on things like Running, Working, Running, Jumping and Playing at the others (countries) who are actually doing all those things now with a bitter, not sweet, remembrance of times passed, thinking to himself that used to be me. It's a metaphor.

The Americans, Now, at this point in history, are turning inward toward their own and, "Not The Rest The World" to proclaim their superiority and "exceptionalism" over others by doing some outrageous acts of ridiculing and secret snickering amongst themselves. This is called the snake eating its' own tail. And a long slithering tail it is. Wickedly So. Tonight in his State of the Union Address look to the President to say "All bankers are off the hook for the crimes they committed against this country"....(paraphrased for common $en$e, of course) Everybody is talking about this. Take for example the case of the Wall Street Executives holding a Party at the St. Regis Hotel Recently. where they mocked and ridiculed and snickered at everybody who was not a Wall Street Executive and who "Got Their Joke" that the rest of us is not in on. (this probably means you)

Everywhere you turn now in America, there are groups and subgroups of people, pockets if you will, of people who all seem to be laughing and snickering and ridiculing those who are not in on what the other group "knows" and is in on it. Whatever It is.

One by one by one. Individually, people are picking up on this. One by One by One people are getting wise to their wicked ways.

That person is Mike Klink. If you have not heard the name Mike Klink, well you should've because he is one courageous, ballsy man. Mike opened up his big fat whistleblowin' engineering inspector's mouth and told the nation how shoddy the materials and the poor craftman- ship that was being used on the Keysone Oil Pipeline. really is.

I have no idea why the President changed his mind on this issue, but I like to think that there still may be this thing known as poetic justice in the world.

Whisteblowers are kinda like "unofficial" civilian spies. They see something that ain't quite right, and is wrong wrong wrong and they tell somebody. The bigger "the ain't quite right" wrong wrong wrong the story, the bigger they will come after you. And so it goes with the Mike Klink story.

Afran filed a complaint Friday in the Southern U.S. District Court in New York City on my behalf as a plaintiff against Barack Obama and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta to challenge the legality of the Authorization for Use of Military Force as embedded in the latest version of the National Defense Authorization Act, signed by the president Dec. 31.

The act authorizes the military in Title X, Subtitle D, entitled “Counter-Terrorism,” for the first time in more than 200 years, to carry out domestic policing. With this bill, which will take effect March 3, the military can indefinitely detain without trial any U.S. citizen deemed to be a terrorist or an accessory to terrorism. And suspects can be shipped by the military to our offshore penal colony in Guantanamo Bay and kept there until “the end of hostilities.” It is a catastrophic blow to civil liberties.

Fear is the psychological weapon of choice for totalitarian systems of power. Make the people afraid. Get them to surrender their rights in the name of national security. And then finish off the few who aren’t afraid enough. If this law is not revoked we will be no different from any sordid military dictatorship. Its implementation will be a huge leap forward for the corporate oligarchs who plan to continue to plunder the nation and use state and military security to cow the population into submission. When people lose it, the authoritarians get scared.

NDAA was passed in direct correlation to a possible Bank Holiday happening, do not think it can't happen here again. The Income Gap: Unfair, Or Are We Just Jealous? : NPR

Don't kid yourself or be dishonest.

The Higher Income Group, The People "With Money" know that the lower earners, are envious of them. If you've worked with these people, you absolutely know this without a fact check or a second thought. And to some degree it's true. It goes with the territory.

Sometimes, at work, these higher income people, treat everyone below them like an Ugly Betty character. If these people, these higher earners know what everyone else knows instinctively, why is so hard for everyone else below them to say what they, the monied, already know.

I'd say this form of thinking is a class issue in and of itself. Those with "it" (money) get to say what the lower caste cannot say. It's speech warfare at it's best, through and about money. And if it is, here's one reason why people think that way.

It's honest, it's raw, it's jealousy and envy, and it's all true. Now get over it, and move on.

As if no one's noticed lately, the Pew Research Center releashed data today that says a war is looming and it isn't with Iran.

The results from a recent survey out of the Pew Research Center reveal that 66 percent of the adults studied believe that there are either “very strong” or “strong” conflicts existing between America’s elite and impoverished, a statistic that has skyrocketed in recent years. Between 2009 and 20011, the proportion of those that sense conflicts exist as such between the class groups grew by 19 percentage points. While less than half of Americans fearing a fight brewing at the dawn of the Obama administration, today two-out-of-three Americans feel that there is a strong conflict between both extremes of society.

Ya know sometimes you think is it just me or.......

And then this news comes out and you realize "No It's Not Just Me".....It's Me X Millions of Others who feel and have experienced it too. And then you know.

You're not the only one with your megaphone out in the wilderness. And it feels good to know that.

Aside from the relationship between the Capitol Building and the banks, though, the incredible amount of inequality in America today can be seen everywhere. As the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, tensions tighten within the US. While a buffer zone of the middle class once bridged a gap between the extremes of the spectrum and allowed the less fortunate an obtainable goal to strive for, earlier statistics published in 2011 reveal that even the middle class is evaporating in America. Between 1970 and 2010, the number of Americans who live in middle-income neighborhoods shrank from 65 percent down to 44. While some were fortunate enough to move into higher ranks of society, the study conducted by Stanford University found that the many moving to an ever-expanding lower-class. The above article really got me scratching my head. The article talks about cyber-bullying, sharing, texting, sext-ing and all points in between.

The reason I scratch my is that the adult over 40+ crowd has never been to this place in TechnoCratic Social Media History.

The second reason is: I wonder how any one know-it-all can study a new guinea pig group when they have no measuring stick for morons to measure them by.

With that said, I have some of my own experiences with social media. Namely that Twitter does not care if your name is real. and Disqus data shows that pseudomyous commenters are best

Social Media in general is not about you per se, and seems to more about the collective conciousness of the crowd.

Just when you think it's all about you and your Facebook Page and your Twitter Stream and YOUR Blog and what you choose to share, it's not. You are not all that, unless of course you are a brand. There are million upon millions of people who all do the selfsame thing. What you choose to share is up to you.

Some people who do not use their real names in the Social Media Online Crowd are being asked "What are you afraid of"? Why don't you use you real name to post comments, opinions and other stuff?

And to that, some of us are saying, what does it matter who my name is, if I choose to share anonymously as long as I make common sense when I share it. Sometimes the best opinions and comments are coming from those anonymous people. If you do not see things my way, get your own Blog-Twitter- or Facebook Page and write what you want.

If on the otherhand "cyberbullying" among teenagers is so prevelant, shouldn't we all be taking a lesson from the kids(the guinea pigs) as to what may be possible. Why America's Mental Health Industry Is a Threat to Our Sanity: Pill Happy, Pill Billies--- Their Highs And Lows---- And All Points In Between

If anybody who is listening to the diagnoses of some of the American Psychiatry members today and not getting second, and third opinions about what they have, they need to have their heads examined.

Today, children and teens are diagnosed with oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), the symptoms of which include “often actively defies or refuses to comply with adult requests or rules,” and “often argues with adults.”

The standard for a medical disorder should not be whether or not an individual causes friction. (taken from Bruce Levine's article Why America's Mental Health Industry is Driving Us Crazy)

So the next time a person causes friction, not just a teen in America, adults too,or maybe even another country that the United States has a problem with and might be getting some sass from, let us not forget the following:

Just as nothing was more important in selling the Iraq war in 2003 than the Bush administration’s certainty that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction, nothing has been more important in selling psychiatric drugs than psychiatry’s certainty of biochemical brain imbalances as the cause for mental illnesses.

The above quote goes for members of the United States' own people.

So the next time when you're wondering "What's wrong with me", and decide to consult a head doctor, look around his/her office. If all you see are pill charts,---- it may be a sign.

A sign that your doctor might be an alchemist. He or she might just be funded by and from American Drug Pushing Companies..American Drug Companies who are hellbent on
giving you and yours pills first, ask questions later, because talk does not pay. Simple.

These people, these drug companies ala mental health care psychiatrists , are no better than the drug slingers on the urban ghetto street corner. And just like the dope dealer on the street corner, these people, these Drug Companies, want repeat customers. Repeat Customers for life. That's where the money is. It is not in the talk. Money (pills) talks. Bullshit walks. Essentially.

Like many of the nation’s 48,000 psychiatrists, , in large part because of changes in how much insurance will pay, no longer provides talk therapy, the form of psychiatry popularized by Sigmund Freud that dominated the profession for decades. Instead, he prescribes medication, usually after a brief consultation with each patient. So Dr. Levin sent the man away with a referral to a less costly therapist and a personal crisis unexplored and unresolved.

The switch from talk therapy to medications has swept psychiatric practices and hospitals, leaving many older psychiatrists feeling unhappy and inadequate. A 2005 government survey found that just 11 percent of psychiatrists provided talk therapy to all patients, a share that had been falling for years and has most likely fallen more since. Psychiatric hospitals that once offered patients months of talk therapy now discharge them within days with only pills.

The alchemists, (the drug companies, and the shrinks) are like modern day Merlins who are co-joined twins who have the power to write the scripts for the performance drugs, the feel good drugs, the magic bullet pills, their money makers, are like a kind of legal drug mafiaso.If you think some of of the 48,000 psychiatrists are not playing the $330 billion pill game consider this:

Chemists consider psychiatric prescription drugs and illegal mood-altering drugs all to be psychotropic or psychoactive drugs. Cocaine and ADHD drugs such as Adderall and other amphetamines affect the neurotransmitters dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine; and antidepressants used in combination also affect the same neurotransmitters. Not only are prescription psychotropics and illegal psychotropics chemically similar, they are used by people for similar reasons, including taking the edge off their discomfort so they can function. The hypocrisy surrounding illegal and prescription psychotropic drugs is harmful to society in at least two ways.

They make a baseball player injecting steroids or any other performance enhancing drugs, look like amateurs. Pretty soon each and every American might have an asterisk* after their name when they go into the performance record books with a note and asterisk on their headstones saying something to the effect of:

"I couldn't have done it without my Paxil, Zoloft, or Adderal."
They made a killing off me.
And I wasn't even cured.

And for those Americans who are proud as peacocks to say : "These drug bashers are like a kind of hate group. They hate anyone who is on any one of the Big Pharma Drugs, therefore they hate me".

....I have one thing to say.

America and Americans are not going to hell in one big handbasket for one reason and one reason alone.

However, OVERDOSED does seem to describe what is going on is this un-sober American world now.

Add money(or lack of it) to the mix and..... presto chango !!!!

The name of the book reminds me of another book: GUNS, GERMS, and STEEL by Jared Diamond which chronicles the fates of human societies and won a Pulitzer Prize. Both have one thing in common---- the fire power part.

In his new book, “Sex, Bombs and Burgers,” Nowak argues that porn, fast food and the military have completely reshaped modern technology and our relationship to it. He points to inventions like powderized food, which emerged out of the Second World War effort and made restaurant chains like McDonald’s and Dairy Queen possible. What Every American Person "With Money" Instinctively Knows About "The Poorer" Americans And Is Afraid To Say. "They're Envious & Jealous Of Me and My Money"

It's all right.

There are some things that are strictly American, and then there are some things that are strictly American, very healthy to admit and also very healthily human. One of these things is having the ability to honestly say that some American humans really are jealous and envious of how much money other people have. This is an honest fact. If that is called a class warfare kinda of jealousy and envy thing, then so be it. The U.S and it's people are.guilty as sin dipped in misery. Did you know there is an actual Facebook Page called:

Well there is. You might want to go there and check out "the others" 46,000+ BTW, who have joined the page.

And you know what else the U.S. and it's people are guilty of?

Dis-Honesty.

Dishonesty, because any healthy psychologist would tell you that being able to openly admit and (depending on what side of the money fence you're on, the richer one, or the poorer one), openly state, without fear of being thought a conceited bitch or bastard that this state of mind exists, and instinctively know some people ARE envious and jealous is one road to Class Warfare recovery. There is a dividing line seperating you and "other poorer people" out there, and that line IS money. That line is very real, it's not imaginary, it's not all in you head, you know it and I know it, and that is the most honest any American could ever get by saying so.

We've all been to that place where the richer friend asks the poorer friend to go somewhere. That Somewhere turns out to be "too rich" for the poorer friends blood, so to speak. The poorer friend declines the invite based on MONEY and their inability to keep up with Money Jones' (their richer friends,
Or those who pretend to be richer, because of course this is America). The high price it takes to go where the MONEY JONES' are going is too high, you can't afford it, end of story. Don't say you haven't done that or been there, you know you have. You can pretend all you want. You know it's true.

Not being able to say that we actually have people in our lives, maybe relatives, here in the United States who have way more money than a poorer relative and NOT be able to say Some Americans feel an envy and jelaousy for them is like Rick Santorum saying, "That pot ain't BLACK, that pot is BLAH." Changing the words Middle CLASS to Middle INCOME only enhances the fact that somebody's INCOME will not permit them to go somewhere the High INCOME Money Jones' people can.

And that place is anywhere the Money Jones' want.

Not so, with Middle INCOME people.

Americans can pretend and pretend till the day they die, that they can afford to go anywhere and do anything just like their MONEY JONES' counterparts, but they can't.

It's time to start telling the jealous and the envious truth for a change.

As a visual communications major & artiste, I realize that sometimes you might be standing too close to the big picture to see the big picture. Standing back from the picture lets you absorb and see what's going on. It's kinda like an aerial view of the big picture, while still standing on terra firma.

With that said, this recent news of an Enemy Expatriation Act where:

Congress is considering HR 3166 and S. 1698 also known as the Enemy Expatriation Act, sponsored by Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Charles Dent (R-PA). This bill would give the US government the power to strip Americans of their citizenship without being convicted of being “hostile” against the United States. In other words, you can be stripped of your nationality for “engaging in, or purposefully and materially supporting, hostilities against the United States.” Legally, the term “hostilities” means any conflict subject to the laws of war but considering the fact that the War on Terror is a little ambiguous and encompassing, any action could be labeled as supporting terrorism. Since the Occupy movement began, conservatives have been trying to paint the protesters as terrorists.

The new law would change a part of US Code 1481 which can be read in full here. Compare 3166 to 1481 and the change is small. The new section makes no reference to being convicted as it does in section (7). So even though the language of the NDAA has been revised to exclude American citizens, the US government merely has to strip Americans of their citizenship and the NDAA will apply. And they will be able to do so without convicting the accused in a court of law.

I hope I’m wrong, but it sounds to me like this is a loophole for indefinitely detaining Americans. Once again, you just have to be accused of supporting hostilities which could be defined any way the government sees fit. Then the government can strip your citizenship and apply the indefinite detention section of the NDAA without the benefit of a trial. This certainly must be questioned by American citizens. When you add to that fact that the London Police have labelled their OCCUPIERS as Terror Risks, Is it any wonder why where can see where this is all headed?

Is any one else seeing the BIG PICTURE?

NDAA: Some LITTLE People Really Are Paying Attention and Trying To Do Something !!!

Montana is fixing to recall Senators who voted for the NDAA.. If you do not have any idea what the NDAA is, you're a sorry ass who is NOT paying attention to what your country can NOW do to you and yours.

In a nutshell:

Historically, the little people have seen many times when powerful control entities attempted to suppress them through brute force, many times successfully so for a period, but eventually the people got pissed off, gathered resources and will to fight back, and kicked ass, many times successfully so.

In NO instance, has a control entity, such as our criminal government, EVER rescinded oppressive laws once enacted. All these laws, the patriot act, NDAA, TSA, Homeland Security, etc., were designed for one purpose: to make legal and routine the use of swift, brutal, and even deadly violent force against the citizenry for any type of criticism of the government, including written or spoken words.

The American people have now become desensitized to scenes of militarized police goon squads beating, tasing, chemical spraying, flash-banging, and sound cannoning young people, old people, veterans, clergy, even lower level elected officials, which marks a serious point in this overall plan. Highway signs remind us to report "suspicious activity", whatever the hell that is.

So As I listened to Rick Santorum last night talk how we should do away with the words "Middle Class" and we should, instead, start using the words "Middle Income", because of course every American knows we have no class system here in America.. Everybody is treated the same way because our classless system is not based on how much money people have, or don't have, and has no bearing on how they are treated, or get treated here in classless land in accordance with their income level, their money level, and their power level in American society, I realized one thing.

It was like a bright lightbulb going off in my head. By Jove I've got it, I said to myself. If we just paid native born Americans, (you know those people whose families have been here for 4, 5 and 6 generations and not illegal alien immigrants who pick our farm vegetables like the slaves of yesteryear did) 20 bucks an hour to replace all the illegal aliens we could raise up the MIDDLE CLASS once again to where they once were.

It's a verrrrrrry, verrry touchy subject, that Class Issue, but somebody's got to do it. Might as well be me and Ricky and Frank Luntz the unnamed mastermind and word wordsmith in this whole psy ops psche 'em out word mess.

Think about it. If every unemployed, underemployed, and all points in between employed person made 20 bucks an hour, (not piece mail work, a guaranteed 20 bucks an hour work) the Middle Class through their slave -like work could rise up over their socio-economic falling, failing Middle Class fates one more time, and become dignified, proud Americans again bring this country back up to where it once was.

My idea will work because hundreds of farms in America are hurting right now for cotton, tomato, and other farm crop pickers since the new laws like e-Verify have been passed to evict illegal aliens from the American soil. We can go back to the good old days of American labor history like this outrageous act in teaching to the CLASS that happened in Georgia just the other day.

Farmers need workers.. We got unemployed people by the millions. Problem solved.

It's a match made in heaven.

As goofy as it may seem.

(Of course it's the 20 buck an hour part that is goofy, I know, but when there is no such thing as the "Middle Class" or there shouldn't be according to Santorum, what you do, and for how you do it shouldn't be a problem.Nothing should be beneath you in a classless system)

Recently Rick Sanitorium (no typo) made a rude comment in public. He verbally slapped people who collect government assistance. Not just all people who collect assistance though, or RELIEF, as it was called back in the day, specifically Black, I mean BLAH people and Welfare.

Now, if I was the only one writing, talking, and blogging about Sanitorium's comment I'd say I was picking on Ricky and zeroing in on his obvious dislike for the under class. But I'm not the only one who has noticed Ricky's comment. Bill O'Reilly noticed, and set Sanitorium straight on some facts. The fact is there are more white people collecting Government asssistance than black people. Go figure huh. O'Reilly calling one of his own a statisical factual liar. Pretty soon Newt Gingrinch (no typo) will be calling Mitt Romney a liar on national Tee Vee. Wonders never cease.

But even if you give Santorum the benefit of the doubt -- that he's encouraging lower-income African Americans to strive for prosperity -- that careless line about welfare still doesn't wash. It sounds more like he heard it somewhere and figured it was OK to conflate that sentiment with the prevailing view among many Republicans that the bloated "nanny state" is the cause of all the nation's economic woes

If, instead, Santorum meant to pander to people who want to believe that everything from the mortgage crisis to the national debt can be blamed on blacks and other minorities living on the government dole, then he'll have shown himself to be unworthy of the office of president. And if he was trying to convince African Americans -- or anyone else -- that they ought to consider voting for him by singling out black welfare recipients in an election year that's mostly going to wind up as a referendum on big-ticket issues like Medicare and national defense, then that's a strange way to do it. So essentially what we can gather from Sanitorium's comment about people on Welfare is the fact that Ricky was really trying to talk to ALL people, All Americans, not just black folk Ricky was talking about the now of nows in America, considering there are more PEOPLE on Food Stamps than ever before.

Ricky was talking about people who are down so low right now and so dis-spirited that they may have given up hope that things will get better if they only work. Work is good. Work is good If you can find a living wage job right now that permits you Not to live fist to mouth, paycheck to paycheck. Work is good if you are not living and feeling like a slave, in a neverending battle of just surviving, NOT living.

Ricky's world is different from the rest of the class. That's why the only way he knows how to stereotype people, all people on Welfare and Food Stamps, NOW, right Now, at this juncture of American economic history with 45 Million on Food Stamps,is to paint them all with the same broad darky brush and refer to them all as black, or that class of people who were the United States' "Former Slaves".

If Santorum wants to be taken seriously when he insists that he meant no harm and says that he's "proud of my record" working with the black community, he should take the time to explain why he believes that black communities are poorly served by government assistance, or make clear that his economic message applies to all Americans -- black or otherwise. If all he can muster is a claim that what he really meant to say was "blah" -- not black -- it won't make him look bigoted; it'll just make him look like a coward. (taken from THE ROOT)

When a majority of the people are starting to feel like nothing more than slaves, and Ben Stein tells people, namely college students, to go out and pick that cotton and take the jobs away from the migrant, albeit illegal alien farm workers, to start paying off their college loans and stop complaining, we got a problem here people.

The Slave Class Doing The Work For "The Other Class" that will not do the back breaking and dirty fingernail work that God intended for them to do their selves.

We get it. You think you can be cute and old-fashioned by openly admitting that you don’t know what a DNS server is. These two companies combined are a one man mean lean infrastructure fighting machine....and they are ruthless. in their endeavors. They will stop at nothing and spare no one.

Cheap foreign steel that cracked when workers tried to weld it, foundations for pump stations that you would never consider using in your own home, fudged safety tests, Bechtel staffers explaining away leaks during pressure tests as “not too bad,” shortcuts on the steel and rebar that are essential for safe pipeline operation and siting of facilities on completely inappropriate spots like wetlands.

As an inspector, my job was to monitor the construction of the first Keystone pipeline. I oversaw construction at the pump stations that have been such a problem on that line, which has already spilled more than a dozen times. I am coming forward because my kids encouraged me to tell the truth about what was done and covered up.

If any American remembers correctly, the BP Oil Blowup-Leak-Spill in the Gulf of Mexico had Helliburton employees who worked on that pipeline and who said the cement used in the base of the Oil Pipe Below the Ocean was substandard cement. That fact, and a myriad of other perfect storm activities all coming together, was one of the reasons why the worst oil accident Americans ever saw happened in the first place. happened at all.

Ben Stein's latest moral money rant about "menial jobs" and the OWS and "artists" is laughable at best. How Stein has managed to combine the very serious money and economics issues and be an expert at it, with comedy is beyond anyone's guess. Why anyone would listen to him, let alone take him seriously about money issues, class warfare, jobs and who gets what, is a study in the philosophical and moral outrage about money that is happening NOW in America. Yet, Ben seems to attract the suits to himself like a well oiled jewish business man. In October of last year, Ben was invited to speak a convention of sorts. Here a blogger, from SHRINKING THE CAMEL , which connects business life with spiritual life, tells what he experienced as he listened to Ben speak:

Birmingham Alabama is the latest city to take a hit from the Economic Hitmen. Jamie Dimon and Chase Bank set Birmingham like a bunch of bowling pins just to watch Dimon and Chase knock 'em all down.

Essentially, Jamie Dimon handed Birmingham, Alabama a Chase credit card and then bribed its local officials to run up a gigantic balance, leaving future residents and those residents’ children with the bill. As a result, the citizens of Jefferson County will now be making payments to Chase until the end of time.

Do you think Jamie Dimon would have done that deal if he lived in Jefferson County Alabama? Put it this way: If he was trying to support two kids on $30,000 a year, and lived in a Birmingham neighborhood full of people in the same boat, would he sign off on a deal that jacked up everyone’s sewer bills 400% for the next thirty years?

Is everyone in the USA really really envious and jealous of the rich because they are rich? Or is it because people like Jamie Dimon didn't get their money the good old fashioned way by earning it. I think not. I think people are mad and angry at the rich because they stole the money. They set people and cities and countries up like sitting ducks and fish in barrel just to take target practice at them. Essentially creating dead cities, indebted to "the man" the economic hitman for all eternity and into the next. No people are not envious anymore, people are mad, frustrated and angry because there is not a damn thing they can do about their current circumstances the banks helped to create.

They see people like Jamie Dimon and think to themselves " This guy is holding 5 million dollar parties and inviting Rod Stewart to sing at them, and here I am with my foreclosed on house and bad health just wishing I could eat a decent meal and be able to smell the air those people breathe. This is way way beyond envy and jealousy now.

This is sheer and unmitigated outrageousness.

Apparently Lynn Samuels was a SOMEBODY in Talk Radio.

I never heard of Lynn Samuels before the day she died. That's not to say she was an obscure fringe nobody on the talk show circuit. It is to say that just because I never heard of her before, does not make her a nobody. There's a lot of people I've never heard of before that are Somebodies.

After seeing Lynn's photo, she instantly reminded me of Molly Ivins, a somebody, who was also a great talker, a great writer, and a great rebel rouser. I think I would've liked Lynn based on her looks alone for that reason.

Who knew you could be a fully grown adult working 40 hours a week and still not be able to live, you'll be surviving, but is surviving really living?

So I set out to try to find out what a living wage meant.

First I came upon this article about the major of New York City titled:

In Gilded City, Living Wage Plan Still Stirs Fear. What on God's Green and why would minimum wage stir fear into the hearts of men. It made no sense.

There is an indefinable something about a so-called living wage bill that puts New York’s leaders at risk of breaking out in socialist hives. Advocates have amended, sanded down and liposuctioned their bill in hopes of pleasing the mayor and the City Council speaker, Christine C. Quinn.

But this bill strikes Deputy Mayor Robert K. Steel, a former vice chairman of Goldman Sachs, as dire. This autumn, he noted that the bill would apply to the gift shop at the Museum of Modern Art. As the Museum of Modern Art or,MoMA retails a natural stones necklace at $775, the imagination strains a bit to imagine a $10-an-hour clerk shuttering the joint.

The state minimum wage is $7.25 an hour.As the mayor rumbles about threats to capitalism and Ms. Quinn tries to decide where she will alight on this bill, another truth goes unremarked upon. A living wage bill scarcely pulls a worker out of poverty, much less into working-class prosperity.

The New York Times reports that Bloomberg's deputy mayor Robert K. Steel is holding out heroically against a bill that would raise NYC's minimum wage to $10 an hour. Steel, formerly of Goldman Sachs and Greenwich CT, had the honor of being listed as "gold-digger bait" on richbitchitch.com in 2008, despite the fact that he's married. Something for $7.25/hour gals to think about.

As I hear pundits and politician's alike, ramble on endlessly about how American workers are the best hardest workers in the world, (and I'm assuming that they mean people with blue collar jobs and others who perform services for other people) my mind remains numb to the fact that you can have the best workers in the world, but if you don't pay them enough to have any dignity and self esteem left in the meritocracy for an honest day's work, what good is that.

What good is feeling like a worthless loser nobody barely surviving, when you've done the right thing, played by the rules, and are STILL not getting ahead, and essentially are running in place on the hamster wheel of life.

See where I'm going with this. It is the psychology of it all.

On "The Bill of Rights Day" Congress Passes The NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) ~The Timing Is No Accident

Naomi Wolf, who never fails to alert and alarm the masses, has an interesting reposted blog on her Facebook Page concerning the passage of the NDAA. The article says:

Execllent and disturbing reporting, reposted here: Surefire, a military contractor, gave a quarter of a million to a single senator and stands to earn 23 million in sight raid equipment manufacture -- enough to outfit fifty thousand soldiers. But...in which war? The war in what is now Battlefield America?

OpenSecrets.org shows Surefire lobbying for HR 1540 which is the House counterpart to the Senate bill, S. 1867, which was passed on Bill of Rights Day and which two retired Marine generals affirm, in a New York Times op-ed, abolishes the Bill of Rights. Retired four-star Generals Charles Krulak and Joseph Hoar write in opposing the new law:

One provision would authorize the military to indefinitely detain without charge people suspected of involvement with terrorism, including United States citizens apprehended on American soil. Due process would be a thing of the past.

You can bet your last U-S Bottomed Out Dollar that when a Company called SUREFIRE has lobbied and won a 23 million dollar contract because of people like a congressman named Portman, something is amiss.

So what does Surefire make? In a word, night-raid equipment, with a fresh new $23 million contract from the DoD even as we saw troops pulling out of Iraq and they are about to pull out of Afghanistan. The product catalog main categories read things like "weapon lights, helmet lights, sound suppressors, high capacity magazines." The equipment is relatively cheap, not big ticket items in Defense Department terms. That means this is a big contract. A $23 million contract would buy enough of these things to outfit maybe 50,000 soldiers.

If you were wondering what all those warriors coming back from the Iraq War were going to do for jobs, think no further than that.

I have no idea why an American media blackout on NDAA is still in effect -- Anderson Cooper, Chris Matthews, Bill O'Reilly and the other broadcast "journalists" have been disgustingly silent on what is undoubtedly the most important news story of the past decade. The single most important news story since September 11th, 2001.

Combined, NDAA and SOPA simply destroyAmerican democracy. That isn't hype. That isn't exaggeration. Within a few days, your freedom of speech will be gone -- post something controversial online, and the government can legally "disappear" it.

Annoy the government too much, or criticize Congress' infinite wisdom and mercy, and you may find yourself in military prison for the remainder of your life, without access to a trial or attorney. But there is reason to believe this time is different. Today, the problem is about affording unregulated high-speed Internet service — provided, in the case of cable, by a few for-profit companies with very little local competition and almost no check on their prices. They have to bear all the cost of infrastructure and so have no incentive to expand into rural areas, where potential customers are relatively few and far between. (The Federal Communications Commission recently announced a plan to convert subsidies that once supported basic rural telephone services into subsidies for basic Internet access.)

So to surmise what this article said is this:

A black tenant filed a discrimination complaint with the commission after Jamie Hein, the landlord of a duplex, accused his teenage daughter of using chemicals in her hair that made the water “cloudy.” Days later, she posted the sign on the gate to the pool.

Hein has so far been unapologetic, and is asking the commission to reconsider their ruling. “If I have to stick up for my white rights, I have to stick up for my white rights,” she said. She recently defended her actions to ABC News, giving the curious excuse that the sign was merely “historical”:

Barry Johnson, a spokesman for the United States military in Iraq, said that many of the documents remained classified and should have been destroyed. “Despite the way in which they were improperly discarded and came into your possession, we are not at liberty to discuss classified information,” he said.

He added: “We take any breach of classified information as an extremely serious matter. In this case, the documents are being reviewed to determine whether an investigation is warranted.” The military said it did not know from which investigation the documents had come, but the papers appear to be from an inquiry by Maj. Gen. Eldon Bargewell into the events in Haditha. The documents ultimately led to a report that concluded that the Marine Corps’s chain of command engaged in “willful negligence” in failing to investigate the episode and that Marine commanders were far too willing to tolerate civilian casualties. That report, however, did not include the transcripts."

Iraqi civilians were being killed all the time. Maj. Gen. Steve Johnson, the commander of American forces in Anbar, in his own testimony, described it as “a cost of doing business.”

They Iraqi's are probably saying "Thank God in Greyhound They Are Gone".

One can only speculate.

And "No". No matter what happens in Iraq after we've left, more violence, less violence, chaos, whatever, staying there as permanent policemen after we broke the country and "freed" it, we do not need to be there........ Maybe we never did.

Does anybody know the real tally of dead civilian Iraqi's? (what if it was a million)

Do they, the Iraqi PEOPLE, (they are people, they are humans,) even matter?

Or were they just like the soldier said they were "The Cost of Doing Business?"

And lastly, Daniel Ellsberg might have had something to say about the "Junkyard Files" if he chose to talk about Wikileaks, Bradley Manning, the NY Times, traitors, patriots, treason and punishment.

A Trillion Dollars later (who really knows the exact amount anyway? Remember when Rumsfeld said it would cost a couple billion dollars? Yeah right.)

So here's to no more PTSDer's coming home. Here's to no more blue collar, middle and poor class mothers, losing their boys and girls to war, a rich man's war. Here's to non-violent reactions and actions.

I imagine I could blog about what "the others" blog about. "The others" being those who would be the speaker at a TED talk, talking about how to save the world etc, but I have chosen to blog about the real. The real and the NOW.

Enjoy these moments , while our home is still relatively intact. I hate to say it , but things should start ( continue ) accelerating toward more and more rapid change. I dont even want to bring this up to friends and family , who already think of me as a chicken little, cassandra, sour grapes, negative, obamma dissing, commie whiner. And , really, why wake them from the sweet delusional slumber. We should all be looking around at the wonder of this wildly beautiful place we live, and hope it has one more hidden feedback loop somewhere that we havent accounted for that might allow the system to regain balance ( if so, it most likely will be a very rocky ride that wont accomodate our survival needs ). So im gonna enjoy this beautiful warm December day here in NC and admire the spring flowers blooming in my yard.

They came in all races, all ages. There were schoolteachers, professors, ex-servicemen, sculptors, painters, dancers, musicians, writers, at least one retired male stripper, at least one Native American, many college students, some high-schoolers, and the homeless. They carved a community out of the park, a society in miniature, with its own rules and government and infrastructure—a library, kitchen, clinic, a newspaper called The Occupied Wall Street Journal, and even a tobacconist. They marched on Wall Street each day, made trouble, made noise, got arrested, met in a daily “general assembly” and in “working groups,” planned for the winter, and organized, not least, to make more trouble.

“This is not a protest,” one of their signs said. “This is an affirmation of the vitality and idealism erupting from underneath the AMERICAN NIGHTMARE.” The library grew ever larger—it soon had 5,000 titles, the only all-night library in the city—and the signs proliferated. “Jobs, Justice, Education,” they said. And: “End Student Debt.” And: “Reinstate Glass-Steagall; Make Corporate Lobbying Illegal.” The signs said that Wall Street was “the enemy of humanity.” They said, “We need only overthrow the investors—not the government.” More tents sprung up through October and November, the campers packing in by the hundreds, until little space was left. For all the people who do not get what OCCUPY WALL STREET is all about, I have one thing to say to you. How can 320+ million people all be living in the same space, the same country, and not know how any one or any or all of the OWS people are feeling or thinking?

How can you go on day after day after day and see people like John Corzine who stole Farmer Brown's money from his soybean futures fund via MF Global that left him destitute and unable to cope with the fact that his life savings was wiped out in one day by a bankster who will see not one ounce of jailtime (time IS money for the businessman...and if you've got enough of it then you won't be going to jail anytime soon) for his criminal actions.

Farmer Brown could be you.

Farmer Brown could live in Ohio-tuckey, or Pennslytuckey. or Wisconsin.

If you do not understand how the OWS people's heads work, you are either severely out of touch, you do not actually live here in these United States right now, you live in the America fantasyland of the past, or your head is so filled with conceit because you and yours have not been touched by any aspect of the banksters criminality and you truly believe you must be immune somehow to what the money criminals of Wall Street have done, because you did everything correctly and have avoided any part of the money meltdown, thereby proving you are right and "the rest of the American world" is wrong. That's conceit at it's finest. That's convinced at its finest.

OCCUPY WALL STREET has become worldwide now.

The 99% probably means to you, that you WISH you were part of the 1%. The wannabes will never give up hope that one day, they too, can be like the millionaires. There's always hope in that American Dream. There's always hope that by not bashing the 1% (because that could be you someday) you still can be them someday. Besides they all got their money honestly, didn't they. They worked hard for it. They earned it. Didn't they? The impression one gets when one wants to know exactly HOW they, the 1%, got their money is detailed oriented to include the legalities of HOW they got all their money. Were any SEC money regulations broken? Offshore Accounts hiding money and tax evasion maybe? People who have played by the rules are being screwed while the rule/law breakers walk away with all the peoples money......can you see how this would make people angry?

When I saw the cover of TIME featuring A PROTESTER, THE PROTESTER, I was wondering if American's and America might get a different copy of Time without THE Protester of the Year on their Front Cover.

Considering how TIME recently released a different version of their Magazine's Front Cover Story to America, because I guess, they thought that THE "protester aka revolter" on the front cover would be too much for the American psyche to handle so they chose instead, to put a cartoon character on the front cover with the words " Why ANXIETY is Good For You".

So the all encompassing "Everyman" (could be an everywoman too, considering the face is covered) has made Time's Person of The Year.

With the indefinte detention of American Citizens on the horizon, coming to a battlefield near you the following video was placed on Matt Taibbi's blog on Rolling Stone as a possible scenario to what might be, could be, coming true. Taibbi does not see this turning out so well for all of us.

Is he a realist or a gloom and doomer?

When you combine the above thinking of "The Man" with Rush Limbaugh's recent description (Audio Below) of how feeding poor kids who are no better than serfs and waifs, is encouragement to letting their existence go on, could Matt Taibbi know something that we don't?
