Flanked by Catholic Bishops who oppose Obama’s new rule, Republicans have tried to paint the amendment as one that restores religious freedom and scraps onerous mandates in the Affordable Care Act. The aim is to continue trying to paint Obama as anti-religion. It also helps divert attention from the improving economy and the payroll tax cut debate, neither of which are shaking out to be politically advantageous for the GOP.
Keeping one's vagina out of one's church war issues and the religion that would like to dominate over that furry patch of fur "down there", continues on.
As Jon Stewart so eloquently put it last night, "For not being a political organization that pays no taxes, the church sure is getting mighty politcal these days where Birth Control is the issue" (paraphrased).
Maybe it's time to revoke their tax exempt status, huh?
Keep your church laws out of my vagina and I'll keep my vagina out of your "Out of Touch" church.....and still receive communion when I decide to go. And there ain't a thing you can about that fact. What are you gonna do Catholic Church enforcer, stand between me and my body of Christ communion wafer when I get in line to receive communion? Try it. There will be a scene. I assure you.
